Live Hold’em Pro Poker was developed by DragonPlay. The app was first released in 2012, so it's a relatively new poker social gaming app. The app has since climbed the charts to be the #1 poker app on the Android network. Live Hold’em Pro Poker sets itself apart from the crowd with its unique theme VIP program and a great variety of tournaments. If you want to find out more, keep reading our in-depth Poker Sites Live Hold’em Pro Poker review.
Live Hold’em Pro Poker was only available to download on Android devices from the Google Play Store when it was first released. It has since expanded and now players can access the social gaming site on their desktops via Facebook or Amazon. You can now also download Live Hold’em Pro Poker onto your iPhones and iPads from the Apple App Store.
Live Hold’em Pro Poker has a futuristic feel to it. The graphics are simple but eye-catching and the interface is easy to use, regardless of if you are a novice poker player or an expert. We quickly got the hang of it during our Poker Sites Live Hold’em Pro review.
The stakes offered on Live Hold’em Pro Poker start very low at 10/20 tables and go all the way up to 2M/4M. This is the widest variety of stakes we have seen. After conducting the Live Hold’em Pro Poker online review, we are impressed that the site requires a very low budget, beginner players as well as card sharks who are big spenders.
Live Hold’em Pro Poker social gaming app offers three types of tournaments: Sit & Go, Shootout and Mega Shootout. Each tournament has its unique benefits, depending on what you’re looking for.
Sit & Go Tournaments are faster as they are only on one table. The blinds for all of the Sit & Go’s on Live Hold’em Pro Poker is 10/20, and the entry fee ranges from 5,000 to 6,600,000. The prizes range from 25,000 to 50,000,000.
The Shootout Tournament is a multi-table tournament that consists of three rounds. The buy in is 10,000 chips, which we found to be average in our Poker Sites Live Hold’em Pro review. If you want to skip to the second round, you can pay 100 diamonds, and if you want to skip to the third round, you can pay 500 diamonds. The prize in a Shootout Tournament on Live Hold’em Pro Poker is a whopping 1,000,000 chips.
The Mega Shootout Tournament is a higher level multi-table tournament. It also consists of three rounds. The buy in is 1,000,000 chips. To skip to the second round costs 2,500 diamonds, and to skip to the third round costs 10,000 diamonds. The prize if you win the Mega Shootout Tournament is 100,000,000 chips.
Live Hold’em Pro Poker, unfortunately, does not offer webcam poker, but you can easily interact with other players and meet new people while playing poker on this social gaming app. Every player gets to use a profile picture or a customized avatar that others see while playing. You can communicate with other players through a chat box while you play. You can also send players gifts if you’re in a generous mood! We received a bunch of gifts when we were performing this Poker Sites Live Hold’em Pro review.
While Live Hold’em Pro Poker lacks the variety some sites offer, it does at least offer the most popular variation of poker. Texas Hold’em is by far the most common and most liked poker game around the world. While you can only play Texas Hold’em on this social gaming site, it does provide the widest range of stakes and great tournament options. After conducting this Live Hold’em Pro Poker online review, we are sure beginners and expert poker players will both be able to find a game they love playing.
Live Hold’em Pro Poker offers a loyalty club called the Platinum Club to players who have at least 500K Dragon Coins in their account as well as hold the minimum rank of 15 (or 5 red stars). This club is meant for the most advanced players on the site and getting in means getting access to the Platinum Zone where they can play higher stakes games and receive an exclusive Platinum badge.
Live Hold’em Pro Poker Makes Players Feel Confident
If you ever have a problem or question while playing Live Hold’em Pro Poker, you can message the support team through the setting button in the app. If you think your question is pretty basic and common, you can most likely find the answer you need on their Frequently Asked Questions page. Payments in the game can be made with your Android or Facebook account. Alternatively, you can also use PayPal to process any payments in order to buy chips, diamonds, or gifts.
Live Hold’em Pro Poker may be a newcomer to the online social gaming app poker scene, but they do a great job of providing a platform to poker players of all different skill levels. The look of the site is unique, it strays away from the look and feel that has become very typical of most online poker games. After conducting our Live Hold’em Pro Poker mobile review, we think this social gaming app is a great fit for all poker players, but especially advanced players due to their Platinum Club zone and high stakes games and tournaments.
