The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online Championship is rapidly approaching its climax but, before the final curtain falls, more bracelets have been won.

Stepping onto the winner’s rostrum in recent days were Ravid Garbi and Ivan Zufic. Garbi was the first to pick up a bracelet after beating all-comers in Event #58, the $5,000 No Limit Hold’em Six-Max Championship.
Garbi had to see off some tough opposition in the form of Chris Moorman and Ludovic Geilich. However, see them off he did.

When 670 players had fallen and only Moorman stood in Garbi’s way, the match was balanced on a knife-edge.
The former eliminated Preben Stokkan to even up the stacks and take the tournament down to two. That, coupled with the fact Moorman is regarded as one of the best online MTT players in history, meant Garbi had it all to do.

As the final pot slide towards Garbi and Moorman’s avatar faded, he picked up his first WSOP bracelet and $531,513. For Moorman, it was another impressive performance and a $398,393 boost to his already burgeoning bankroll.

WSOP Crowns Another Champion
Next to pick up a WSOP bracelet was Croatia’s Ivan Zufic. Ahead of the WSOP Online Main Event, GGPoker hosted a “mini” alternative. With a $5 million guarantee and $500 buy-in, the WSOP Online Mini Main Event attracted 15,205 entrants.
With the prizepool pushed to $7.2 million, Zufic picked up a career-high win worth $843,460 after beating Suraj Mishra heads-up.
A number of famous faces fell short of the final table, including Bertrand Grospellier and Daniel Negreanu, but Zufic held firm. Even in the face of pressure from Mishra, the Croatian kept calm and picked his spots.
