The Asian operator has been one of the most active during the lockdown period. As well as GGPoker signing new ambassadors, including retired tennis star Boris Becker, it’s hosting the WSOP Super Circuit Online Series.

Alongside the moves being made by its flagship platform, the network’s other brands have been expanded their horizons. With GG riding a wave of momentum, TotoGaming has been drafted to boost its international reputation.

GGPoker Network Expands Out of Asia

The GGPoker Network initially built up a fanbase in its native Asia. From there it acquired a collection of international licenses before opening poker sites in the UK, Canada, and parts of Europe.

TotoGaming, in theory, straddles two of those markets. The former Soviet republic sits in the Caucasus region between Asia and Europe. Although it’s often associated more with the latter, it does have cultural influences from both continents.

For GGPoker Network, the deal is another pin in its ever-expanding map of regions. For TotoGaming, the partnership will open up new opportunities for its players.

As well as getting access to the $100 million WSOP Super Circuit Series, customers can now compete against a burgeoning playerpool. At the time of writing, GGPoker Network had over 37,000 active players online.

That currently makes it the fourth largest poker network in the world above Partypoker and 888Poker. For a relatively small site like TotoGaming, these numbers are huge.

Partnership Highlights Purple Patch for Online Poker

Individual benefits aside, the deal is another positive for online poker. Although coronavirus has been devastating on many levels, lockdown prevention measures have led to a surge of activity.

That’s allowed operators to generate more revenue over the last two months. This, in turn, has resulted in a rush of innovations.

From tournament festivals to new partnerships, the industry is currently enjoying a purple patch.

When lockdown laws are relaxed and people start to venture outside, a lull is inevitable. However, by laying the groundwork now, the GGPoker Network is hoping to maintain as much positive momentum as possible.
