GGPoker is going big on this year’s World Series of Poker (WSOP). As well as hosting the international leg of the online summer series, it’s giving away over $10 million worth of extras.
Dubbed the WSOP Season Giveaway, the series of promotions will be open to all players on GGPoker’s international network.
The $10 million giveaway will run throughout August and feature daily freerolls, new customer offers, and leaderboard competitions.
And, just for good measure, players can also ante up in 33 online bracelet events.
The aim of the promotion is to give players another way to win during the WSOP Online Series. Yes, there are 33 bracelet events, but that means there can only be 33 champions.
Those that miss out on some WSOP bling can play for over $200,000 in added value every day.
Of course, we all know that August is the month for tournament players at GGPoker. The 2021 WSOP Online Series runs from August 1 to September 12.
However, it’s not just the MTT lovers that are getting some love. The following promos cover all games and variants:
The WSOP bonanza doesn’t stop at online bracelet events and a $10 million promotion. As a partner of the WSOP, GGPoker is also running a series of official satellites.
Qualifiers for the Main Event also start on August 1 and there will be one package up for grabs every week. The winner’s package includes:
The only potential fly in the ointment for GGPoker and those wanting to win a WSOP Main Event package is COVID-19.
The US recently announced that its borders will remain closed to travelers from Europe and the UK for the time being. This could prevent players getting to Las Vegas in time for the series.
GGPoker’s Paul Burke has said that the company is monitoring the situation and will provide an update in the coming weeks.
The positive news, however, is that the Main Event doesn’t start until November 4. Therefore, even if Europeans can’t get to Vegas for the start of the 2021 WSOP, they may be able to ante up in the Big Dance.
There is the option of travelling to the US via Mexico. People can fly into Mexico, stay for 14 days, and then enter the US.
For most players, that’s impractical. However, with just over three months until the WSOP Main Event, this may not be necessary.
Assuming Europeans have a direct route into the US, GGPoker is pulling out all the stops for this year’s WSOP.
